Quality of Care
Pros:
"They are hands down the best vet in the area."
"They were absolutely informative and knowledgeable."
"They took care of my pup so well and we are forever grateful for the selflessness and care they showed to us."
"Dr. Courtney Flynn has been there to talk us through every step, and is continuing to be a support as we embark on the long road of chemotherapy treatments."
"Dr. Dana Yard work with my Dublin. She not only found the right meds to be able to groom him and give him shots but gave me scripts for his anxiety, his airline travel, and ANY OTHER ISSUE that stresses him."
"Dr. Yard clearly has a deep affection for animals and was so patient and caring."
"Dr Yard was amazing as well as all the staff!"
Cons:
"All in all, easily the worst vet experience I've ever had - poor job doing his stitches, poor job removing the staples, zero status updates while waiting on results, zero follow up communication."
"I was barely given a straight answer on what a concerning discharge would look like."
"Pretty sure this vet is overwhelmed with patients during covid times and just wants to get them out the door by telling them anything."
"No remorse or apology shown so will be taking my family for care elsewhere."
"It was genuinely disgraceful and neglectful behavior and we will NEVER be back!"
"The only thing I didn't care for was the limited parking and the long wait time."
"This vet 2-3 times disregarded the problems and claimed it was allergies or nothing to worry about."
Accessibility and Convenience
Pros:
"They were able to make me a last minute appointment for him and were very kind to squeeze me in after we were late... Price was reasonable for the procedure and meds he required."

"They are busy and yet always answer the phone and have appointment slots on evenings and weekends."
"They always do great work."
"They are available by phone and email to answer quick questions and have accepted last-minute appointments when I’ve had bigger concerns."

"They gave her fluids, and did blood work. And the doctor called us the next day with results."
Cons:
"In somewhat of an emergency I called our main vet–Mt. Airy Animal Hospital–and was put on hold."
"Why advertise as a hospital and risk having people waste precious time during an emergency?"
"The vets never comes out to see me in person."

"The pandemic has completely changed this hospital's ability to get back to normal."
Value and Pricing
Pros:
"They were also incredibly affordable!"
"The hospital by me in reading was going to charge us 10,000. For the surgery. Wissahickon did it for less than half and they were better with her 'attitude problem' the vet tech there was amazing beyond belief."
"They are extremely fairly priced."
"They graciously put me on payment plan that I can afford!!"
"Wissahickon is very affordable and we wouldn’t have been able to have quality surgery for my cat had we went anywhere else."
"Prices are reasonable and the way they keep me up to date on all my animals when something was going on is amazing!"
"The charges were very fair with a great outcome."
Cons:
"It is expensive and I think the vet should have days when there are discounts."
"They are very overpriced!"
"I was charged more than the estimated cost of course."
"Price was a bit steep however, I think it's the going rate."
"Great vet a little expensive but all animals are very nice people Update my cat oreo died Sunday night this hospital ran tests said kidney levels were high but I also told them that he jeeps eating and I thought they would check everything since I paid $290 dollars but didn't when I personally buried my cat and when picking him up off the cat bed I saw a large tapeworm and I figured the tapeworm killed him that's why he was eating alot I'm just super passed cat was in the family for 11 years thanks to thus vet he no longer is will never go back."
"After weeks of asking for status updates they informed me they LOST his biopsy...."
"Absolutely horrendous. The most unprofessional staff with the most inadequate service they provide."
