Atmosphere

Pros:

  • "Beautiful decorations inside, gives an awesome vibe."
  • "From the outside Molly’s looks a bit kitschy and unmemorable but as soon as you enter you know you’re somewhere special."
  • "The atmosphere in there is super festive, with lights and decorations all over the place, particularly around the holidays, so despite its decent size it gets really packed in there."

  • "The ambience and overall energy of Molly’s is warm, cozy, and inviting."
  • "Such a unique place! Sawdust on the floor, traditional and yummy Irish food! Cozy and inviting!"

Cons:

  • "Loud and crowded, exactly what you'd expect from and Irish pub. I guess one might call it 'lively.'"
  • "I wish if the space was better lit, with normal light colors, instead of that strange red colored light."
  • "It seems all the people who can’t get into Rolf’s line up to come here."
  • "Did not get a good vibe from this place from the moment I stepped in."
  • "I personally don't like the sawdust all over the floor, as it gets stuck to my shoes."

  • "Everyone there is so nice and welcoming."

Cons:

  • "Came here for brunch... and the table and seat was so disgusting and dirty."
  • "Btw, our waitress was Swedish, which may explain the chilly service some have complained about."
  • "Well after being seated it took a while for our waitress to recognize us and she was pretty rude to us throughout our stay."
  • "After our order was taken, we didn't see the waitress until after someone else brought our food and it was after our drinks were completely gone and our burgers were half eaten."
  • "Came here for brunch. Went inside told the bartender I’m sitting outside. Then the bartender said he will came out in few minutes. I waited 20 minutes no one came to serve me."
  • "We waited a while to be seated and were ignored a few times."
  • "The staff was nice but messed up the order sometimes which I’m fine with. If you’re more picky then probably not your place."

Food & Drinks

Pros:

  • "And the Guinness is pretty decent for an American bar too."
  • "I love that they have Irish Spice Bags which are a unique Irish food influenced by Asian takeout."
  • "The drinks were pretty strong. We ordered martini's and the 1st one had me feeling buzzed. Totally worth it."
  • "All kidding aside the dinner was spectacular!"
  • "The fish and chips were absolutely genuine London recipe are completely authentic and delicious."
  • "A true classic! Worth it for vibes alone but the food is objectively solid, 2-3x better than your typical Irish pub fare on both the quality and authenticity factor."
  • "The shepherds pie and fish & chips are amazing!!"

Cons:

  • "Only reason this place doesn't get five stars is because the food is not very good. Soggy fish and chips, greasy Shepard's pie and not very good."
  • "Our drinks were okay, and the food was not good. It felt very low quality, it tasted like your average dive bar food."
  • "But got a very watered down bloody mary for $8.00 these type of drinks should be included in brunch menu."
  • "I personally didn't love the food as it was a bit bland."
  • "The corned beef was cooked very well, but the cabbage was bland. Tasted as if there was no seasoning."
  • "Mozzarella sticks were gross (no flavour) and I make a better shepherd's pie than that."
  • "The only complain I have is that the chicken was a bit over cooked and tasted a bit rubbery in the sandwich."

Value

Pros:

  • "The drinks were pretty strong. We ordered martini's and the 1st one had me feeling buzzed. Totally worth it."
  • "The food was decent (we got burgers for $10-12), nothing to rant about, but the portions are great for the price you pay."
  • "Prices are very reasonable, as well."
  • "Not less important, the expence is reasonable."
  • "At almost 20 dollars for the burger the price is a bit high."

Cons:

  • "But got a very watered down bloody mary for $8.00 these type of drinks should be included in brunch menu."
