  • "The food was amazing, no one could get enough."

Cons:

  • "And the food was cold! Cold!"
  • "Okay, the dinner was cold and the champagne was warm, but that's any wedding."
  • "However during cocktail hour one of the servers cross contaminated fish with non fish foods."

Venue Aesthetics

Pros:

  • "The venue is a perfect blend of rustic farmhouse and modern luxury (especially with the new conservatory!)"

  • "It’s the perfect combination of rustic and glam with the most epic 30ft glass wall."

  • "The grounds are absolutely breathtaking."
  • "The venue is magical, I had multiple guests saying it felt like a Disney wedding from the setting."

Cons:

  • "The on-site suite looked like someone was murdered there. It also looked like it hasn't been upkept since the 1800s."

Staff and Service

Pros:

  • "Katherine, Jessica, Kyle, Samantha, Kiersten and the rest of their team made my husband and I feel like family."
  • "Jessica and the rest of the team really stepped up, we continued our planning for our date, we moved it outside instead of the beautiful farmhouse and the wedding went on without a hitch."
  • "A special shoutout goes to our wedding coordinator, Kiersten, who was a true godsend."
  • "We really appreciated our coordinator Katrina for making sure we were 100% taken care of all day."
  • "Both Jessica and Katherine were onsite and kept checking on all of us in the wedding party to see how we were doing and even just offered us water while we took pictures! Very attentive and accommodating."
  • "The entire staff was excellent, attentive, focused and caring."
  • "Everyone I interacted with was so professional, kind, easy to work with, and helpful."

Cons:

  • "It was these two middle aged ladies bragging about being the owner which I’m sure they probably are. They were very snobby and stand offish."
  • "The wait staff was rude and the bartenders were aggressive and so mean."
  • "The service staff were a bit lacking. Never got coffee or wedding cake."
  • "Unfortunately the host of the tour, who said she was an owner, was not at all welcoming or friendly."
  • "One time I went to the bar, I was barred from ordering a drink because they wanted everyone in their seats."

Cons:

  • "We had filled out a whole form with specifics on the florals, pictures, etc. and we didn't feel as if she was prepared going into it."
  • "Unfortunately, the day of the wedding she was unfamiliar with the spreadsheet we had prepared through the venue."
  • "I often felt like I was being bossed around and into decisions even after I voiced my opinion/discomfort otherwise."

Financial and Contractual Issues

Pros:

  • "Being able to stay on the property was a nice bonus, so we got some extra time to enjoy the beauty on our own."

Cons:

  • "CK has A LOT of requirements to hold your wedding there, including paying hundreds of dollars extra to stay on the property the night before."
  • "It was very disheartening that my parents lost nearly $6,000."
  • "These people are absolute scumbags. Took advantage of the COVID situation and kept our deposit."
  • "Unfortunately, we could not reschedule the wedding because the only options we were given was to have it outside for the same amount of money, or on a Thursday of the following year with increased prices."
  • "I am heartbroken over the way Crossed Keys Estate handled my stepdaughter’s wedding cancellation during this worldwide pandemic and feel like this is my only recourse since they won’t even answer our emails."
