  • "The shrimp and anago tempura donburi was excellent."
  • "Really good food that has lots of flavor."

Cons:

  • "they've sat us by the door which was open all along, so the whole stay was cold, the food got colder faster, the experience was uncomfortable and uncomforting."
  • "We also tried the pork katsu curry and una tama don but thought they weren’t anything special."
  • "The pork cutlet was actually perfectly fried... What I wasn't pleasantly surprised by was the curry. It was really salty and sour, like they had put too much vinegar in there."
  • "The eel was hard to break apart I would say, like kinda rubbery?"
  • "Popcorn Chicken was not up to expectation."
  • "The pork katsu were a little dry, and the steak lacked garlic flavor as expected."
  • "The eel was too fishy, they did not manage to catch the odor."

Service

Pros:

  • "Will I visit this place again? Not anytimes soon!"
  • "I was pretty disappointed in the vegetable curry. It was really skimpy on the vegetables."
  • "Nothing else on the menu really appealed to me and of the dishes that I did try, I didn't like it that much so I doubt I would come back."
  • "However, some minor details need to be improved to get 5 stars, including sticky table tops that need to be cleaned better, paper towels in the restroom should not be on the toilet tank, pending grade and violations from the Health Department, etc."

Ambiance

Pros:

  • "This restaurant has a front window that opens and allows the space to be naturally lit and air to flow through more easily."
  • "The indoor atmosphere was chill and relaxing :)"

  • "Wonderful ambiance. Moderately price premium sakes."

  • "modern Japanese-toned interior--warm wood interior. medium-sized open airy space with a good amount of natural light with softer interior lighting."
  • "The atmosphere is also really warm I’d say."

Cons:

  • "Nice Japanese restaurant, although a little bit dark at there( I used my light to help me taking picture)."
  • "Note to owners- perhaps dim the lights a little bit to give the place a cooler vibe in the evenings."
