Playgrounds
Pros:
"3 playgrounds: a separate tot lot and 2 bigger ones. So many fun things here!"
"The playground is incredible for my daughter."
"Great new playground for all ages."
"Its got a nice pond where you can go fishing. There are picnic areas and 2 different playgrounds, one for young children and one for older kids."
"Best park in the area. Toddler asks to go after school every single day."
"After the renovations of the two playgrounds, and having two different walk/jog paths plus a dog park, fishing lake, a huge hill to run up and tumble down and a huge open field to do whatever your heart desires this is definitely a great park for families."
"Playground for kids and a separate playground for toddlers."
Cons:
"I was so disappointed, we called 3 days before our party and asked if we could set up 15 mins early since no one is renting the pavilion ahead of us and they said no we could come the time that we rented the old and I said ok."
"An absolutey beautiful park and playground! We could spend all day there...as long as it's not too hot. The only thing bad about it is that all of the playground equipment is in direct sun making a lot of it unusable without risking burns."
"The only thing I dislike are the signs at the playground equipment because they include dumb rules (no running? If not at the park then where?)"
"The only challenge is that none of the tot lots are fenced in so if your child is prone to wander off... You'll have your work cut out."
"The only other con I'd say is the slides don't appear to have drain holes."
"The only thing I didn't like was that the playground areas didn't have some sort of cover."
"They have three different played areas for children but nothing for children 3 and under."
Park Facilities
Pros:
"Public restrooms are clean and spacious."
"Large, relaxing, diverse park in a growing metropolis of confusion. Take the family here, or go on a lunch break and you will not be disappointed."
"Great park with several tot lots for big and little kids."
"Beautiful playground with pet friendly gated sections."
"Really nice large park. Two playgrounds for kids. Pond for fishing, with a few fountains. Volley ball net and sand play area. A gazebo. Plenty of picnic tables/benches some under a structure. Great for walking. Good parking. Restrooms."
"The Best Park Around. This park has everything, two dog parks, walking trails, pond for fishing, large hills for sledding, clean bathrooms, two pavilions and multi-structure playgrounds for both big and little kids."
"Clean facilities and the area is well maintained."
Cons:
"Gets incredibly crowded on the weekend and in the summer."
"Parking always seems to be an issue on busy days, but people just line up on the grass next to the parking lot if necessary."
"At times it looks a bit shady back there. There's a creek running through the woods and my child and I were attacked by mosquitoes."
"Parking was tight, but it does look like they are currently paving some more space for added parking so that should help."
"Only downside is that it gets very busy."
"But still summer times, getting parking is really difficult."
"The wildlife is absolutely extraordinary especially the anacondas that swallowed my little child Jessica whole."
Recreational Activities
Pros:
"Bring dogs for the dog park or simply walk around the paved lake or skate or bike ride."
"Great walking path on asphalt or on woods trail."
"Great place to go with the family to watch a little league baseball game had a great time watching my grandson play today our team had a double play and a triple play in the same game wow that's awesome."
"Such a nice park. Great trail for bikes, running, walk, great field space for sports, etc. Cute dog park that separates them based on size."
"Layer on our blanket by the water and truly embraced being out in Nature with the birds whistling."
"Great place for sledding during the snowy weather."
"Great park for kids to play with 3 playgrounds."
Cons:
"It's just a nice park my daughter likes the playground area the only concern I had today was nobody in the playground area was wearing a mask except for me and my daughter and one other couple with their kid the other 60 or 70 people were not wearing a mask not good."
"Place is stocked with fish but during these times of corona virus there is way to much people without masks."
"During winter time the lake freezes over which is perfect for allowing children to ice skate and “accidentally” fall in and drown."
"Aside from that, it's a spacious playground with far-distant bathrooms."
"Watch out after it rains, a lot of the walking areas are waterlogged for days!"
"My only gripe is that the walking paths often pool with water and the grass around them is muddy."
"Fill in areas along the walkway to the park.... they are always mud holes now."
