Cons:

  • "Service was sloowwww and predictably indifferent ( I had to ask five times for bread)."
  • "The waitstaff was utterly uninspired. Bare minimum of service, and that was given with some attitude."
  • "Service was fine but you didn’t feel incredibly welcome or comfortable."
  • "Nevertheless, we did not like the way that the waiter talked to us."
  • "I was glared at by staff like I was an intruder."
  • "The music. Hip hop, loaded with 'n' words, 'f' words, etc. NOT a place therefore to bring small children."

Food Quality

Pros:

  • "Incredible wine list, fantastic food and friendly staff."
  • "Wonderful meal - we enjoyed every dish and especially the Boudin Noir and the Pithivier."

  • "Every dish was outstanding, and the wine list was excellent as well."

Cons:

  • "We left baffled as how it ever received anything positive."

  • "Tartar was extremely oily due to the walnut pesto and uni with potato cake was simply flavourless."
  • "Everything was delicious except for the squid."
  • "Each dish had quality ingredients and textures, but the chef was very heavy handed with the salt and it overpowered everything."
  • "The fish again tasted very fishy and oily with no real flavor profile."

Ambiance and Atmosphere

Cons:

  • "Outside seating has no heater so we might not go back until they do something about it though."
  • "Space is a bit small so expect to be pretty close seated to other guests if it's busy."
  • "The high chair layout was odd; difficult to negotiate seating with fellow patrons."
  • "It’s extremely uncomfortable and most of the seats just face a brick wall."
  • "The atmosphere was very strange and uncomfortable."
