Ambiance

Pros:

  • "The decor is simple, clean and fresh."
  • "The actual cafe is stunning - great for studying, spending a lazy afternoon reading, or meeting friends."
  • "Light, airy atmosphere."
  • "The unique atmosphere provided such a homey French lux experience."
  • "Very cute vibe, with a soft Parisian vibe."
  • "The ambiance, though with limited seating, was comfortable and cozy."
  • "The cafe is located on the corner lot, so it had lots of windows on the front and the side, bringing in bright natural light."

Cons:

  • "Docking a star solely because I believe it is overpriced. Each pastry runs about 5 dollars."
  • "Not even worth the try."
  • "There were a lot of little things that didn't seem to work - general confusion on the part of the staff."
  • "Slightly on the pricier side per item."
  • "By far the worst mocha we've ever had."
  • "The only 'but' is the music. Bachata/Reggaeton music does NOT fit at all with the French environment."
  • "The cafe’s interior is white-washed and plain, nothing French."

Service

Pros:

  • "The staff is pleasant, kind and so knowledgeable on the pastry."
  • "The staff is kind and welcoming (They go above and beyond)."
  • "Their staff were so friendly and warm."
  • "Received fabulous customer service from Bastien."
  • "The two young ladies serving as baristas were very attentive and professional."
  • "The service is always so friendly, from management to the staff."
  • "Big round of applause for service macchiato the right way."

Cons:

  • "And no offer of chocolate powder or any sweetener?"
  • "Only complaint is that they refused to serve our cappucinos in mugs."
  • "Also the people behind the counter will scoff and roll their eyes if you don’t tip them."
  • "The service was ok, not overly friendly but efficient."
  • "The service varies depending on who is behind the counter."
  • "Nice place... but today I waited over 30 minutes and never got my coffee."
  • "Not even the music was French."

Food & Drink

Pros:

  • "They even make their own whipped cream on site."
  • "Everything we tried we really enjoyed. Very savory croissant and quiche."
  • "Amazing espresso that is so smooth and sweet."
  • "The pastry-napoleon was light and creamy, and the Nutella banana crêpe was delectable."
  • "Everything looked and tasted hand made. The texture of croissants was great, good layering, flaky outside and slightly chewy inside."
  • "Fabulous, authentic pastries and a galette des rois to die for honestly."
  • "The pastries are out of this world just like in Paris!"

Cons:

  • "Taste like bread with a dash of chocolate. And the almond one isn’t worth buying."
  • "The pan au chocolat, which was more bready than a nice, flaky, laminated dough."
  • "Pastries and bread are delicious but super overpriced."
  • "I was so underwhelmed with how unimpressively decorated the cake was."
  • "I really wanted to love the pastries here but honestly the Madeleine's from Costco are so much better."
  • "It was the worst sandwich I've ever had. Ever. In my life."
  • "The big disappointment is the baguette. The texture is off. It is too fluffy."
